The Master Trust Client Representative is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and closing individual client Master Trust accounts, subaccounts, and files, acting as liaison with Social Security Administration to establish client eligibility and periodic redeterminations; reviewing and processing of disbursement requests; and monitoring and ensuring accounts are drawn down through continuous communications with Family Care managers.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates application process or redirection for all third-party benefits.
Coordinates with Social Security Administration and sets up telephone interview for eligibility.
Receives client award letter and establishes and maintains individual client Master Trust Accounts.
Monitor client accounts, notifies, and works with Family Care Manager to ensure accounts are below statutory requirements.
Establish and maintain ABLE accounts for qualified Master Trust clients.
Communicates with Family Care Managers, Child Legal Services, Guardians Ad Litem and Social Security Administration and maintains positive working relationships.
Create and process approved disbursement requests, and monitors receipt of various receipts against the disbursement.
Ensures Family Care Managers and Legal receive required legal documentation.
Complete and submit reports required by Social Security Administration.
Notifies Social Security Administration when child has left care and process account closeouts.
Provide quarterly accounting for each child with Master Trust Account to Family Care Managers and Child Welfare Legal Services.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree in Social Services, Accounting or Business; or equivalent experience or specialized training with Social Security Administration related to child welfare Licensure/Certifications Current Background Clearance Screening Letter Valid Florida driver's license and insurable by agency's current insurance carrier KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to meet Organizational Required Competency standards Excellent customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) Proficient in accounting software Familiarity with Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) preferred Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Familiarity with Social Security Administration regulations pertaining to Client Trust Accounts or SSI, SSA benefits is preferred Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to lift 5 -10 pounds WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job regularly operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.
Repetitive motion is also required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
