Responsibilities:
- Groom and style pets according to client requests and breed standards - Perform basic grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process - Handle and restrain animals as necessary - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions Skills:
- Animal handling:
Experience in safely handling and restraining animals during grooming procedures - Heavy lifting:
Ability to lift and carry large dogs or equipment as needed - Equine:
Knowledge or experience in grooming horses (optional) - Dog handling:
Proficient in handling different breeds of dogs with varying temperaments.
- Pet care:
Understanding of pet behavior, nutrition, and general care requirements - Kennel:
Experience working in a kennel or boarding facility (optional) - Customer service:
Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service - Animal care:
Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being Note:
