Wildwood, FL Wildwood, FL Part-time Part-time $14 an hour $14 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Description Performs work organizing recreational activities and sports leagues, community center events, assisting the Parks & Recreation department with operational projects and communicating with the public.
Work is performed under general supervision and 20 hours is required each month to be eligible for this position Examples of Duties Assists with City-organized community event Assists in the organization of recreation programs, activities, events, and services May plan and participate in individual and group instruction along with scheduling of events, programs, scorekeepers, and game officials May also perform custodial work such as required and assigned, including change light bulbs, sweep floors, vacuum carpets, dump garbage and reline cans with liners, clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies, clean spills, etc.
Typical Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Ability to solve problems and address concerns; Ability to contribute to the accomplishment of team goals, objectives and activities while maintaining effective working relationships Ability to work nights, early mornings, on weekends and holidays; Ability to follow and demonstrate written and oral instructions; Good written and oral communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
