The Onboarding & HR Assistant is responsible for providing HR assistance and confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
As a member of our team, you will also be responsible for providing HR support to our employees and our management team.
SUPERVISORY

Responsibilities:
Answers frequently answered questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management.
Crafting and sending communication with information about the company, policies & procedures, onboarding, training, and equipment.
Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews.
Develop and administer onboarding path.
Conduct New Hire Orientations.
Verify I-9 documentation and submit documents via E-Verify for employment eligibility.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails, mail for the HR department.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution of their queries.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves.
Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Back up to HR & Payroll Processes Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resources information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High School Diploma Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
3 years progressive HR
Experience:
Payroll, Full-Cycle Recruiting Ability to travel within Central Florida as needed.
Ability to be insured under company auto insurance policy.
Excellent verbal and written communication to interact clearly with incoming new hires, vendors, and current employees.
Professionalism, patience and listening to respond appropriately and interact positively with employees and new hires.
Organization and Time Management to keep accurate records, find important information quickly and prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day.
Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity.
Ability to read, comprehend and write English.
Computer skills including Outlook, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ATS, Payroll systems.
Ability to understand and follow instructions, ability to learn the methods of various tasks, ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
